In pursuance of the directions issued by the Gujarat Technological University, Anand Institute of Management has set up the Women Development Cell (WDC) with the following objective:

The Objective of the Women’s Development Cell is to prevent and discourage the commission of any act of harassment, including sexual harassment and to provide the procedure for resolution, settlement, or prosecution of acts of sexual harassment by taking all required steps. The cell has also been constituted with an objective to ensure the overall well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the Institute. The Women Development Cell of the college provides a forum the students to discuss and deliberate on issues concerning women.
